A figure that depends on how the charges add up
- Mexico City. The 10,153 pesos are the sum of the at-home fee (3,319) and the authorization for the judge to leave their jurisdiction (6,834). The law does not say whether an at-home wedding also pays the 1,652 for registration.
Sources and review date
- Fee: Mexico City Tax Code 2026, arts. 216 and 218. Requirements: Civil Code, arts. 97-98, and Civil Registry Regulations, art. 105.

Limitations
- What we infer. When we say a requirement "does not appear" in a code or a procedure sheet, that is all it means: it is not in the text we read. It is not a rule that prohibits it.
Fees are updated every year. Before you pay, confirm with your registry office.
