A figure that depends on how the charges add up
- Guerrero and Sonora. Their laws add surcharges of 15% on state fees: four in Guerrero and two in Sonora. The 2026 fee published in Sonora's Official Gazette (December 26, 2025) and its official procedure sheet give 1,269 without surcharges; in Guerrero we found no official procedure sheet with the total, so we show the base.
Sources and review date
- Fee: State Treasury Law 419, art. 108 section II (consolidated text as of Dec 31, 2024; Decree 298 of Dec 2025 did not change these fees). Requirements: Civil Code, art. 349 (amended Apr 7, 2026).
- UMA. Fees in UMA were converted at 117.31 pesos, the 2026 daily value, and rounded to the cent. We did not average or estimate any figure.

Limitations
- What we infer. When we say a requirement "does not appear" in a code or a procedure sheet, that is all it means: it is not in the text we read. It is not a rule that prohibits it.
Fees are updated every year. Before you pay, confirm with your registry office.
