Two official sources that do not match
We do not hide the difference: we show both figures with their source and date.
- Puebla. The Civil Code (text as of October 17, 2025, art. 888) requires a medical certificate and two witnesses per partner; the 2026 state procedure sheet on the Ventanilla Digital does not list them. The law charges 925 for the wedding and 175 for the marriage notice, which is mandatory.
Sources and review date
- Fee: 2026 State Revenue Law, art. 29. Requirements: Civil Code, arts. 888-889, and Ventanilla Digital procedure sheet.
- UMA. Fees in UMA were converted at 117.31 pesos, the 2026 daily value, and rounded to the cent. We did not average or estimate any figure.

Limitations
- What we infer. When we say a requirement "does not appear" in a code or a procedure sheet, that is all it means: it is not in the text we read. It is not a rule that prohibits it.
Fees are updated every year. Before you pay, confirm with your registry office.
